If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My mom’s chicken and noodle soup with mashed potatoes; this has always been my favorite home-cooked meal. Eating this meal instantly takes me back to my childhood.
What's a TV show you've been enjoying lately?
I absolutely love watching "Dance Moms." My daughter is a competitive dancer, so we travel all over for dance. We most certainly watch a ton of "Dance Moms" re-runs.
If you could instantly become an expert in one skill, what would it be?
I would become a skilled musician. I love music and have always wanted to learn how to play an instrument.
Who would play you in a movie about your life?
I would have Keke Palmer play me. Keke is kind but fierce all at the same time. She brings so much passion and joy to her movies and interviews.
Why do you think accessibility resources are important for creating an inclusive campus experience at IU Indy?
Accessibility services are important not only to creating an inclusive campus experience, but also in creating inclusion in our communities. Making sure that everyone has equal access to educational opportunities is crucial to the growth and success of the students, but on a large scale.
Much of what our office does is compliance-driven; however, building relationships with our students, other campus offices and community partners contributes to the passion and dedication behind the work that we do for the students we serve.
